I never knew I had a documentary urge. Actually, that's not true. I write nonfiction. But since my BFF said I was "visually retarded" (in the nicest possible way), and even though I come from a family of artists, I've never been visually oriented. But now I cannot have enough photos of my precious baby. And it's pretty clear to see that I am not the photographer in the family.
For today's hike, we stayed close to home.

Either your photography skills are better than you think, or your subject and her surroundings work the magic for you. Either way . . .nice!!!
None of the above. John takes all the photos. I only took the (bad) one of him and Helen. He gets all the credit. He's very good.
got it. how big do you expect helen to get? and i suppose we should really be having these conversations over the phone rather than taking up valuable blog comment space.
Marnie, Since you're pretty much the only one who comments (reads?) this, we can do both. Don't know about the size. She's about 25 pounds at 4 months. Her mom was petite, smaller than Hannah. I'm hoping for 35 but will probably be disappointed. I always wanted Hannah to be a big dog ("Grow!" I'd say to her when she was a puppy. Now I want a small-to-medium. She was, at least, the smallest of her litter.
